Case study - Hanover Dairies
Hanover Dairies has worked alongside Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity since 2008 raising over £150,000. Owner and Managing Director of Hanover Dairies, Trevor Hanover, approached Rainbow Trust after finding us online and admiring the work we do.
“We chose to work with Rainbow Trust as I think they are a particularly worthwhile charity. After seeing the work they do for families in our local area, I could see just how important the services they provide are to families that need them.”
Well I would walk 240 miles…
In 2008 Hanover Dairies took on their first challenge and Trevor walked 240 miles through the highlands and lowlands of Scotland. The challenge was mentally and physically tough and Trevor was even admitted to hospital towards the end with a serious case of trench foot.
But determined to carry on he finished and went on to raise £20,000 for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. Since then Hanover Dairies has gone on to complete all sorts of challenges including riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats on a milk float and a lawn mower! With every challenge they complete they ask their loyal customers for sponsorship, to be passed on via their milk man.
The fundraising doesn’t stop there. Hanover Dairies held their first Ball in 2011 and the Diamond Ball in 2013. Both were attended by over 300 people and guests were treated to a night of entertainment, dining and dancing.
